Am seeking a copy of John Walsh's COLLECTION OF PIPE FRIENDLY TUNES....GOOGLED to no avail....any tips?

You can order the "Pipe Friendly Tunes" book from: Irish Pipers’ Club, P. O. Box 31183, Seattle, WA 98103- 1183. Cost is $34.00 (postpaid) in the U.S.

They should be adding a PayPal button on the website soon.

it's been said before around here but it's worth repeating - the two books that edwin spring (of swaup) did from tunes he heard at the camden pipers' club are as good an introduction to pipe-friendly versions of the classics as any you will find. i got my copies longer ago than i would like to say and i still find myself going back to it from time to time - the only thing is i am not sure if they are currently available in print - perhaps one day they will be collected together and published by ossian or someone like that

i think i missed the point of the thread as the poster was looking for a specific book - i'd be interested in knowing about mr walsh's book

Edwin is currently working on a reprint of his book(s). I'm not sure of a publication date though.
