Really.
It's true--a mocking bird tried to give me a script treatment and head shots yesterday.

Oh, yes, I received Mr. D'Arcy's CD--lovely stuff, highly recommend!

The drones sound amazing. Tabhair dom do Lamb sounds so brilliant. One of all time fav tunes. Great collections. Thanks. Cheers

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

That repeated high B "weep-weep-weep-weeb" really separates the piping men/women from the piping boys/girls. D'Arcy effortlessly sheds such phrases like skin cells.

Tell us something.: Not a new musician, but fairly new to the Uilleann Pipes. I am primarily a bass player, studied jazz bass in university, but also play, piano, saxophone, clarinet and drums. Looking forward to a long and happy experience with the pipes!

Got my Compact Laser Disc copy of the recording today. BRILLIANT.

Already wearing it out.

The audio recording of his sets is really fantastic. So very well captured and manages to keep up with caliber of the playing!

My copy arrived yesterday and I really like it. Any serious collection of uilleann pipe recordings should include this CD.
And the boy can sing too - who knew?
