- Tell us something.: I bought my wife, Brenda, a Dulciforte hammered dulcimer. The seller recommended high and low whistles as accompanying instruments for me to join Brenda in this new musical journey. Brenda plays and teaches piano and flute. I play didgeridoo and handpans.
Brenda decided to join me in lessons to play the whistle. We picked instruction books, and I immediately began researching what type of music we could start playing together and which whistles would be best for our style of music. The results led me to purchase whistles from Colin Goldie and Ronaldo Reyburn.
We plan to spend the next year joyfully and intensely learning to play whistle.

Re: Testing Yep it appears to work from the Preview! Very happy!
I just want to see the difference between leaving everything in the quote and taking portions of it. I want to make sure I understand how to use a small portion properly. This is a test with all the quotes.MackBeth Whistles wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 10:05 pm A reply in the whistle forum is marked pending until approved, so I am checking if that happens here too.
This is leaving only a portion of the quote.
This is to see what it looks like if I take out the referring part.wrote: A reply in the whistle forum
My wife and I are learning to play the whistle. We both enjoy classical and contemporary music. We plan to become familiar with traditional Irish music by spending a joyful and intense year learning to play our Colin Goldie and Ronaldo Reyburn Whistles.
