Up for sale is a Thomas Fehr Baroque flute. It is a J. F. Englehard copy in cocobolo that plays at A=440. I've never been able to find out much about Englehard except that he's a little later along the Baroque timeline than Rottenburgh. The flute plays very nicely at A=440 with very good intonation and a nice tone. Where I notice the difference from my Cameron Rottenburgh at A=440 is that the Fehr has more resistance in the upper second and third octaves.
This is a good flute, not a great one. That's why it's $450 instead of $1450. It is a lot nicer instrument than a plastic Aulos for close to a plastic Aulos price. $10 shipping to the contiguous U.S. and at $450 I will absorb any PayPal fees. It comes with the padded roll shown in the photo.
