This is the body of a Tony Dixon DX-102 straight bore aluminum low D. The head broke a few years ago, and I had already moved on to a Ralph Sweet blackwood low D instead. The two rubber gasket rings for the head are also missing, although that's an easy replacement. You can get a replacment head directly from Dixon (the TB106H) for 35.25 GBP, from Hobgoblin Music in the U.S. ($53), McNeela Music ($43), and probably other places, too. There is also a maker on Etsy who sells 3D-printed low whistle heads for around $40 USD https://www.etsy.com/listing/965297617/ ... pare-head? I haven't tried those, but they were very respnsive to my inquiries and comfirm that it will fit the Dixon whistles.
Anyway, if you're willing to take on an easy project, you can end up with a pretty good bargain on this instrument, as it'll still come in at about 2/3 the cost of a new one.
