Bryan Byrne keyless blackwood flute for sale.
This is a very nice Rudall style flute with medium/small size finger holes. This flute reminds me of the good early Grinters in terms of response, tone, and volume, an excellent flute. I’d describe the tone as complex and focused, with a very sweet sounding second octave. Blackwood Allergies prevent me from playing this flute, which is the reason for the sale.
Bryan’s flutes are very well made, right up there with the best, and this example is in very good condition. I will send detailed photos to seriously interested parties.
$1400. for the Byrne flute, a Cavallero flute roll (these are no longer made), and a plastic pistol case, which will include a humidifier. Price includes shipping to destinations in the continental U.S.
Though I only really need a keyed flute at this point, I may be open to a trade/partial trade for a Mopane, Boxwood, or Delrin keyless flute from an established maker.
This really is a wonderful flute and it’s truly a shame it’s not being played.
Feel free to contact me with questions. Thanks.
