FS: Baubet Delrin D

Post by bigsciota »

A lovely flute in delrin by Francois Baubet. The medium-sized holes and Baubet's embouchure cut make it quite an easy player, but it's still got a strong tone and good honk on the low D. This is a perfect "grab-and-go" flute since it's easy to play and fairly indestructible thanks to the delrin. Wide flat rings and a wood endcap (I believe olive but don't quote me on that!) mean it looks as good as it sounds!

It's been through the Irish Flute Store in its life, where Blayne said of it

"Really lovely flute. Great player with medium sized holes. Suitable for players with smaller hands that still want enough power and response for playing Irish trad. Incredible flute for the price."

You can see the description and photos he took here:

I can send along some photos myself or a video of me playing it to anyone who would like it (PM or email).

$400 shipped in the CONUS, if you're outside that contact me and I'm sure we can work something out.
