I have made that milestone in life and am finishing up my life as an undergrad in just a few weeks. I am about to start my post-graduate work next year and unfortunately financial aid isn’t available for my program. With that said, I have to sell this flute, especially since I have a different model flute coming from Patrick and Aaron and will need to be paying for that one soon in addition to tuition next semester. The flute I’m selling was made earlier this year. It is a 6 key D flute with wider wedding band rings, as well as capped tenons. The flute is made from mountain mahogany, a wood that is chocolate brown in color and in regards to weight and tonality falls in between boxwood and blackwood. I would rate this flute as having a more warm sound than blackwood but still more focused than boxwood. I’m taking offers at this stage, contact me if you would like more details.
