Ebay stupidity upon stupidity. You just have to make use of a work-around. Down in the part where you chose international shipping options, just click on "no international shipping" (or whatever selection will allow you to sell domestically only). Then, up in your auction notice, insert a notice to the effect that you are indeed quite willing to post the instrument overseas.

If you're in the UK, you should be able to wrap this nicely and put in a mailing tube for between five and seven quid, to the US anyway.

Whatever you do, please don't use Ebay's international package third party shipping option. All they do is throw your article in an empty box and put a single piece of tape over it. Not at all a safe or secure way to send things overseas!

Lars, That whistle seems to be located in Ireland, not Sweden, and it is listed under someone else's name.

Yes, sorry, should have explained that. I didn't manage to put it on eBay myself after all so i asked a friend of mine, Seanie McGrath to put it up for me. The listing is perfectly legit, i will send the whistle immediately to the winner as soon as i get the address from Sean.
