Blackwood, three keys, Eb, C, and G#. Short foot and a long foot with the Eb key. A fabulous sounding instrument but it's big. Big bore, big stretch in left hand. Consequently my left hand ring finger gets stressed out after playing for awhile. I have medium size hands and believe this flute will only be comfortable for someone with large hands. The bore is huge and the sound is comparable. Great sound but it tweaks my ring finger, too bad Gert didn't offset the hole.
