Tell us something.: I have been playing the tin whistle for a year. I have never played a musical instrument before the tin whistle.

Benedict Stewart Low D

Post by JTU »

I have a Benedict Stewart Low D for sale made of Rock Maple. A little over a year old. Purchased for $990 AUD. I haven’t used it a lot. It’s a lovely whistle with a mellow flute tone. Probably not quite as loud as an MK. My playing doesn’t do it justice and if I want to play a low whistle I am more inclined these days to use a low F. I put it up for sale a couple of months ago with no interest. I thought with Christmas around the corner it might be time to try again.
I understand that Benedict Stewart is no longer making whistles so this will be rare.
I am looking for $800 AUD which with exchange rates equates to circa $565 USD, 516 Euros. And 435 GBP. Seems a bargain to me.

I am having trouble loading photos so please PM me if you are interested

Thanks
JT
