This particular Grinter is a bit special because it is an older version that is a lot lighter than the typical Grinters produced which adds to a much more responsive resonation and sweet tone. This Flute has been in the possession of some great flute plays such as Pat Finnegan, Issac Alderson, and Sean Gavin (used to recored the first Bua CD) before I purchased it from Sean. Before my possession of this flute it was serviced by John Gallagher where the barrel was replaced and the integrity and intonation seemed to be perfectly maintained by the custom work.
