No doubt many of you have encountered maddening glitches in the Board's operation. We have contacted Dreamhost, and at the moment they are troubleshooting the matter. We are aiming for a resolution in whatever way we have to come to it.
The main issues are two: lag time when initiating functions (IOW, loading sometimes take much longer than is reasonable), but most glaring of all is an Error page upon hitting Submit. When this happens, your submission has actually been successful: just back-arrow to the post you were answering, hit Refresh, and your post will appear as intended. As to the slow load, I've had to resort to stop-and-refresh maneuvers, and sometimes this takes as much as a few tries. It's unacceptable, and we hope it hasn't chased people away. Please be patient. We'll keep you all informed, so watch this space.

Dreamhost, who provide the server for our Board, have made a change, and, for me at least, the Board appears to be functioning normally for now.
