For my annual checkup
This will not be fun

Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Leaves turning color
Loosening, falling to earth
Just like my damned teeth

Tell us something.: I'm a beginning whistle player and find this forum fascinating and full of helpful information. I'm interested in learning everything I can about whistles and whistling. I'm learning on my own with method books, youtube and lots of trial and error. No whistle teachers or sessions near where I live.

Dental drill, I cannot feel
because of anesthesia,
My tooth is ill, I feel no chill,
I dream about amnesia.

Your first line is sparse
Its syllables' paucity

My teeth revolting
With each deliberation
Patterns too square so
