Tell us something.: I just bought a Clarke Sweetone and I’m interested in learning how to play it. My goal is to be able to play the whistle without my family complaining too much.

Mountain Ocarinas in G

Post by Alaskamike »

Mountain Ocarinas are back in production. They are small (pocket-sized) inline ocarinas in the key of G. The fingering is similar to a tin whistle in the lower octave. What I really like about them, other than I can keep one in my pocket, is that ocarinas are not affected by wind, or at least not as much as a tin whistle. They don't have the range of a tin whistle, but I try to avoid songs with notes past G anyway. They are available through Amazon and more information can be found at mountainocarinas.com.
