FS: Aulos AF2 baroque flute, Sweetheart G flute (folk fife)

Post by Peter Duggan »

Cross-post from the Used Instruments Exchange:

Two nice flutes up for sale simply because I'm happier with offset T3 holes for my left hand...

Aulos AF2 'Grenser' 440Hz ABS baroque flute in as-new condition. Typically selling new at UK prices between £425 and £499, but you could have mine for £290 inc. UK P&P (please ask about international shipping).

Sweetheart rosewood G flute ('folk fife'). Head and body inscribed '2521', easy player with good, strong sound. The original, thick, 'thread' lapping (pretty well a single layer of red, felt-like stuff) was way too tight when I got it, so I replaced that with yellow piping hemp. The Sweetheart Flute Company are currently listing these for $195 (USD), but you could have mine tax-free in the UK for £100 (GBP) inc. P&P (please ask about international shipping).

I use a Sweetheart rosewood G folk fife on the street, and, IMO, it's terrifically good.

Tell us something.: I play the traditional, Barok, and modern flutes, and regularly attend sessions. I also play guitar and violin.

Hi, I know it’s a long shot, but is the Aulos still for sale?
Cheers
