Hi list,
I'm selling a Rudall Carte flute with a cylindrical bore and Böhm taper headjoint, eight keys, cocuswood, that plays lovely at a = 440Hz. Serial no. is 7548. Used to be Calum Stewart's flute. The flute has been reworked to accept just about every Böhm headjoint you'll find on the planet. With the flute comes a (pretty rough but fully functional) low whistle headjoint that turns the flute into a chromatic tunable low whistle, a Northwind flute case and a Altieri case cover (that has one damaged zipper, but the other one works fine).
I'm asking 1600€ o.b.o. and might consider partial trades. I'm looking for a nice C whistle: Abell, Sindt, maybe Burke. Shipping is charged at cost. Reason for the sale: I'm building a new workshop and need to finance some furniture for that pretty quickly.

Thanks for looking,
Gabriel

- Tell us something.: Hi all, I'm Rob, a beginning flute maker, very interested in the history and manufacture of simple system flutes. Setting up shop at the moment, buying tools and studying flute making resources. Wish me luck!
