FS: Hammy Keyless Delrin Flute £600

Post by Daibhidh »

Hello potential buyers.

For sale is a delrin key of D flute made by Colin Hamilton for £600 + P&P.

I bought this from forum member 'sponge' previously but I am unfortunately quitting the flute due to worsening RSI so would like to sell this lovely flute on to a new home.

As of September 2011, this flute costs 900 euros new and has a waiting time of 8 months.

For photos, please see Sponges previous post: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=73928&hilit=+for+sale

I have changed the case to a narrower and snugger one which is better for pulling out at sessions than the toolkit box pictured.

Will ship worldwide but prefer Europe. (I'm based in Inverness, Scotland).
Payment by paypal or cash on collection.

Any questions PM me please!

Thank you

Tell us something.: irish music, specifically slow airs played on different whistle keys, also lower keyed flutes like Bb, but only from modern makers who have managed to get the hole spacing a little closer. And finally learning some fiddle tunes, mainly slow airs again so that the whole family don't go mad with the sound of a cat being strangled.

Hi all,

hope you had a great Christmas break, just chipping in on Davids post regarding the Hammy, its a great flute, I remember trying to get it back 6 months after selling, never done that with any other flute, David was hanging onto it though, which was fate as I managed to get Hammy to part with a rare flute from his own collection, which is also a
great piece of delrin from a great guy.

have a great new year

Hey everyone.

I never did sell for various reasons. I now have it sitting, packed, measured and ready to go.

If anyone is interested in it PM me with your address and I'll let you know the postage/insurance and you can decide if you would like it.

Act quick.

Thank you.
