FS: Aebi 8-key D flute Blackwood - Photos Added

Post by BrendanB »

Hey everyone,

I am selling an 8-keyed Thomas Aebi flute in D. The flute was made in 2009 out of African Blackwood. For more information on Aebi flutes - http://www.aebi-flutes.com/

The flute is in very good condition. There are no cracks and the keys work very well (including the low C keys). A previous owner replaced the thread with cork. The cork can be removed though if you prefer threaded joints. The flute has a nice tone and plenty of volume. I am selling to cover the cost of a recent flute purchase. Happy to provide some sound clips over email.

I am asking $4,000 (which is what I paid) or best offer. I will post photos tonight or tomorrow. Happy to ship anywhere.

Feel free to send me a PM if you are interested.

Thanks,
Brendan

Wish I had the money for this solid flute. Love the low C keys as well as the good craftsmanship. Good fluting to whoever snaps it up.
