Tell us something.: I'm not new here. I have been registered here for many years. I am not a spammer, though being from Hawaii, I do enjoy eating spam. Now the site is requiring at least 100 characters in this box. It would have been nice to know that bit of information before I hit submit the first time!

Is there a different link for Ken Murphy & Eamonn de Barra?

The unzipped mp3 files credit all the tunes on the CD to Pat Fitzpatrick. :-?

Thanks for the link!

Was there something wrong with the Cd or Cd player or whatever?? the flute playing was good but it seems way way too fast for any normal person to enjoy. flute playing is supposed to get us in a state of relaxation, not in a state like we had finished a gallon of coffee.

Anyone know which player plays on which sets? I love the treatment of The Peeler's Jacket, the gan Ainm, and The Boys from Chicago.

Gan Ainm on track 2 is "The Flooded Road To Glenties" by the late great Co.Tyrone/ Glasgow fiddler Jimmy McHugh.

So you're new to ITM? True, much of this is very much on the faster side, and I for one prefer things slower. But the speed on these recordings is far from uncommon.
Who "supposes" that flute playing is supposed to be relaxing anyway? I get annoyed with myself when people say things after a set of reels like "Oh, I love the flute, it's so mellow". It tells me I'm still not getting the punch and drive I want. Now if they say that after Coilsfield House, I'm happy, and that tune should indeed carry you away on a pastel cloud, but that's only one of the flute's potentials.

Hehe.

No, I'm pretty sure he ain't.

Its a funny thing to say I must admit... he's a odd fellow though so there you go.

Some of it is pretty speedy but I for the most part seems under control.

Oh and an alternative name for " Vincent Campbell's" is "Australian Waters" its the name I got it under.
