Searching for antique flute dealers / new wooden keyed flute dealers

Hi everyone,
Just off the back of a horrible experience waiting a year after a rather unethical dealer from Limerick / Birmingham ... I'm reaching out in case people can send me in the direction of flute dealers.
Needle in a haystack but I'm after a LEFT HANDED Rudall Rose / JTL / Liddle or other antique wood flute.
That said, I'd also be more than happy to settle with a good quality, new, left handed wooden flute. The problem is all the good makers won't do stuff for lefties or want you to wait 10 years.
If anyone has any tips to help me on this quixotic quest, please do before I lose my mind.
Thanks
p

I'll second the recommendation of irishflutestore.com. I've bought 3 flutes over the years there, and sold one, all great transactions. If you contact the site owners Blayne and Deborah Chastain and let then know you're looking for a lefty flute they can notify you when a used one arrives.
A complication is that you mention wanting a lefty *keyed* flute. Those are very rare on the used market. You might be better off contacting a maker willing to make one in a reasonable time frame.

On the Facebook group The Irish Flute Marketplace there's someone named Yann, in France I think, who frequently lists lefty flutes for sale. I don't know this person but they're memorable because the flutes are always nice and a very good price, so I get excited briefly until I see that it's left-handed.
Also I concur that irishflutestore.com is fantastic!

I am not sure about lefties - but you could contact Tony Millyard (
http://tonymillyard.com) top guy for customer service. No connection other than being a happy customer. Just don't jump in front of me in the queue for keys please......
