Tell us something.: I'm honestly just trying to get into anything music. I come from a strong Irish heritage, so this seemed like a good fit as one of the music forums I'm joining!

Help! Ear training

Post by gleefan »

I’m curious how ya’ll better your ear skills to hear relative pitch, recognizing chord progressions, and identifying sharps/flats? I've been using an ear training app called ToneScholar (https://tonescholar.com) if you're want to use it too. It's pretty good, it’s intuitive,  it’s really improved my relative pitch although it’s really for voices exercises. I’m not a singer! I'm just curious about any advice or exercises you may have that are like the app.
