The Scottish Flute Channel

Post by kenny »

Aberdeen flute and whistle player Peter Saunders has been posting flute clips on "Youtube" for a while now. His early postings came from recordings made at the flute weekend held in Aberdeen in 2001, featuring Chris Norman, Niall Keegan and Eddie McGuire. He followed this with some recordings of himself playing a variety of Scottish tunes, but has recently had two interesting interviews with Tiernan Courell from Sligo, who was recently staying in Aberdeen, and also Nuala Kennedy at the Stonehaven Folk Festival a few weeks back. Next up is Calum Stewart, coming soon. Here are links to the 2 recent interviews :

Tell us something.: I have recently retired and have always wanted to learn to play a musical instrument. I'm leaning to play the whistle and now the flute.

I visited his channel. Watched several videos and enjoyed them so I subscribed. Thanks Kenny for bringing this to my attention.
