Tell us something.: Irish flute player, uilleann piper. Just got a new flute, looking for information on old flutes. I’ve been playing Irish music for 30 years, but am just recently getting more into it.

FS: G. Litz 8 key Blackwood Flute

Just recently got a Dave Copely 6 key (awesome flute) and I’m looking to sell the flute I started on. Marked as G. Litz and Company, it’s probably a V. Kohlert stamped for a
music store or company. Marked D, L.P. on head and lower joint. As best as my research can tell, it was made somewhere between 1920 and 1925 in Prague. Flute was recently completely overhauled, new pads, etc. Flute is in immaculate shape, plays great. $500.00. Happy to send pictures and sound samples, just ask!
