I am looking for a used Casey Burns Folk Flute for small hands. I think my previous post on this topic disappeared in The Great Update. To the helpful person who shared a lead to a used FF on The Session, thanks and it’s already been snapped up.

You could always ask Casey if he'd be open to making a small handed flute for you, though it might have to be the full-blown standard flute w/tuning slide etc. One of his recent FB posts read:
In the meantime I will be happy to consider taking orders on a case by case basis. I can at least put you on a want list. I am more sympathetic towards those needing a smaller-handed flute, as none of my flute-making colleagues have taken that need seriously.

I don't think I can send you a PM yet with you having 1 post, so I'll reply here. While I don't have a folk flute, I do have a standard Burns flute w/ tuning slide that has offset holes. Not sure if it's a small hands model, but the holes are definitely ergonomic. I've been thinking of selling (been playing another flute more), and while the price is higher than a folk flute, my price in mind is reasonable for a standard flute. Let me know if you're interested.

I’m amending my WTB to Casey Burns standard flutes as well, as long as they are of the small-hand variety. As I understand it it should be possible to add keys to a standard flute later, which could be an advantage.
