THREAD REVIVAL

FWIW, Pete Kosel's original Flutomat is still available :) via the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine, apparently in functioning form, though I have not tested it exhaustively for functionality.

Keep on fluting.

I think the one that Chuck Tilbury has on his homepage is more or less the same:

The Flutomat app had the choice of 6 or 8-hole flutes: you say you only have for 4,5,6,7. You really didn't save the 8-hole option?

There are a number of adaptations of Flutomat still available, on http://twjcalc.sourceforge.net, http://www.flutopedia.com/naflutomat.htm, https://www.music.bracker.uk/Music/Whis ... lator.html, and others. I'm not sure another hosting is needed.
Hi Tunborough! I think I've contacted you before. None of the sites you mention has the 8 - hole version of Flutomat, which is essential for me making Irish- style flutes from bamboo - otherwise I can't undercut the low D to get the octave right! You mentioned your WIDesigner program. I've been to the Github link you gave, but when I click on WIDesigner 2.6.0, nothing happens. What do I have to do to download it: download all the listed components separately?
Many thanks,
Peter Ozanne.

The download page for the latest release is at https://github.com/edwardkort/WWIDesign ... ses/latest. Specifically, you want WIDesigner-2.6.0.zip from that page, at https://github.com/edwardkort/WWIDesign ... -2.6.0.zip. You can read a description of what's in the release package, or watch the installation video, for more information.
