Thanks everyone. I had a wonderful time in Tullamore with the ceili band. Lot's of great music and friends finished off with the news that I had placed in the competition. A sweet ending to my busy week. Our band did not place, but we played well and really surprised ourselves. I am still trying to figure out if Delta is going to let me carry on this monster of a trophy.

Having heard your band at the NorthEast Regionals, it's amazing that you didn't place as a band in Ireland. Just goes to show how good the level of competition must have been in Tullamore. It makes your win in accompaniment that much more impressive. Congratulations.

congrats! man you can do it all - melody, percussion, and accompananiment. too bad you only have 2 hands otherwise you could enter the comp. as josh dukes ceili band.

Yea, The bands that are at this level are top notch. We can honestly say that we played our hearts out this year. Last year we ended up being timid due to it being our first go at it.
