- Tell us something.: I play the first flute Jon Cochran ever made but haven't been very active on the board the last 9-10 years. Life happens I guess...I owned a keyed M&E flute for a while and I kind of miss it.

Yes...it was a bit stressful getting it over here and I was shocked to find that the tupperware you gave me split on the flight over...but I guess the 50% humidity makes the seal not as important as it does in the LA. Gosh, I love the flutes I have....thanks again Jon.Jon C. wrote:The poor thing was a mess when I got it, had to rebuild the foot socket and reattach the pins there. There was also a huge gouge in the upper section, that was filled. The flute plays surprisingly well, and has found a nice home at Oxford.Aanvil wrote:Well that is a stout fellow I must say.
I figured you had a pic.
Hmmm... pins and flat pad cups.
Is that a plate on the short F or is that just dirt?

Who is next on the list? I've had the flute for a couple of weeks now (thank you Jon for this great opportunity) - and someone else is looking forward to giving it a try, I'm sure
