Happy with David Angus flutes

Post by veloed »

Hi Guys,
Just a quick note to say I have just gotten in a week ago or so, a low D flute in Sapele from Davy Angus, and wanted to say how pleased I am with both his fast service, and the flute he sent. I am in Lakebay Washington USA. Also picked up a used high D fife in Rosewood of his, off Facebook whistle/ flute group and again, really nice instrument.
Both are well made, feather light and easy to play.
Though am a crap flutist, once I get some practice in, I will have to see if I can make a little video.

Use the image tag, the one that looks like a mountain, & put the URL to the image between the tags. :)

I have one of his aluminium low D flutes that I bought pre used, it too is a nice instrument - (I've been tempted to get a low F or low G, trouble is, I don't really play that much, these days).

Tell us something.: I have been playing simple system flute for 37 years. I have often read other people's posts on this forum.

I have three of his fifes, Bb, D and a C#. Build quality and tone are excellent.
