Does your flute have the eliptical embouchure? I was confused by the post and the picture.
Also how does one tune it? Thanks

Did you click the "here" above? Yes, elliptical embouchure. You tune it by moving the headjoint.

Shouldn't it have 6 tuning pegs like a guitar?

Yes, I clicked it. The post it led to was the one I was talking about.

Thanks for the info about tuning. I infer that there is a delrin tenon that serves the purpose.
Wondering how well it works.

Fancy that, Jim. A slideless flute! Don't they just think of everything?!

I played a slideless blackwood Copley with elliptical emb for years. Lovely thing. Dave has since installed a slide for me. The slide is useful, but not critically needed, IMHO. These are great flutes, and this one is priced right.

Yes, I play five slideless flutes, myself, in various keys.
Here's one, a Casey Burns C flute:

Not much hung out with a delrin tenon, however.
It would seem to me it would work perhaps even
better, being harder and more precise than
your standard tenon. Thanks for the info.

Much prefer an elliptical embouchure, personally.
Yes, I agree: this seems like a swell flute.

Picture a bright blue ball just spinning, spinning free
It's dizzying, the possibilities. Ashes, Ashes all fall down.
