For Sale Highland Pipes

Post by Ed Harrison »

I would like you help.

Where is a good forum to post a nice set of highland pipes for sale?
These pipes were made by Hammy Workman in Mass. several years ago.

The selling price will be around $900 to include pipes, chanter and case.
Just been into uilleann pipes too long to go back the highland pipes.

Please post here or by PM.

Thanks ... Ed Harrison

Well, that didn't take long!

Now, you can remove your earplugs!

Are you going to the Loch Norman Games this weekend? I am packing up just now.

Hey there Fancy Piper

Thanks, it was a very good set of pipes. I've just been out of Scottish
piping for a long time.

I did not make it to the Loch Norman Games. Went to an old time fiddlers
contest near by. Never got clawhammer out of my system.

We did a few old time (the usual crossover tunes that OTMs don't know came from over there).

May I mention/suggest the Mt. Airy and Sparta fiddlers (google it, I am exhausted and very sleepy as Loch Norman was so much fun or I would post a link). Bed and bath can be furnished as I have two camping cots and a fold out couch if you don't mind being a little bit cramped.

Bernard is hooked on drop thumb banjo too, and Craig teaches in JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians) and knows quite a few old time tunes.

That would save me the postage of mailing you Naomi's Fancy #3, Crossing Borders.
