SSP wanted...lets swap somethin'

Post by Doc Jones »

Hi Gang,

I'm looking for a good set of SSP. Preferably (I think) bellows blown.

A/D set, A set, D set, C set....heck whatta ya got?

I'll swap anything you want from the store or pay with real money. :)

PM or email with interest

Thanks,

Doc

Hi Doc

If this is to play with the family band, would border/reel pipes or northumbrian half long pipes not be more suitable than SSPs?.

Hi Davy,

The Border and Session pipes I've heard sound more like GHB than I care for. I like the tone of the SSP. I'll just mic the SSP if I use them with the band, or use my UP to be heard.

I'm guessing the SSP will be mostly for solo work or the living room. :)

Sloan ssp in D

Post by marquard »

I have a set of Sloan Scottish Small Pipes in A that I am selling in order to buy a practice set of Gallagher Uilleann pipes in D. I would be interested in a trade. I did not see any pipes on your site though.

I will post some images as soon as I can or I can email them.
