Chanter in ‘E’ made from Plum wood
Chanter in ‘D’ made from Acacia, if I recall correctly.
Chanter also in ’E’ made from Cornel wood encased in Buffalo Horn (see pics’)

This set was purchased some years ago with the intention of trying to use it with bellows, without much success, and has been languishing ever since. It has never been used as a mouthblown instrument and is in near new condition.
There are 2 chanter stocks provided. The wooden chanter stock is not the original but is a snug fit. To use the horn chanter stock the chanters will need to have more ‘hemp’ binding added to them. Both stocks work well with the set.
The drone spacer extends the drone pitch from ‘E’ down to ‘D’ for use with the ‘D’ chanter.
These are a lovely set of pipes made by a master.

Pretty good price I reckon considering the Horn Chanter alone cost around $700 AUD, and has never been used.

If anyone wants to trade for a Hummelchen Bagpipe or a Sackpipa chanter in A/E made by either Matthias Branschke, Max Persson or Thorsten Tetz, please send me a PM.
