FT/FS: Sloan Borderpipes in A, for GHB

Post by Pipezilla »

Hello,

I'm looking at gifting my sister with a set of GHB for the new year. I'm willing to trade a set of border pipes that I'm not currently playing. Depending on the quality, cash can be used to balance any inequality in value.

I'm not sure when Ray Sloan made these pipes. (His site: www.borderbagpipes.com) I bought them second hand. The reeds are made by Sloan. (Chanter reed is synthetic). Bellows and bag are in great condition. As you can see in the video below (excuse my unsteady playing), the chanter is mostly in tune but can use some tweaking for flat/gurgling notes. I think it is pitching around 435 in A. I also have a bag cover not pictured and a soft care case for the set.
