Hi...Regarding the set of Naills in Used Instruments....
I've listed them on FeeBay at $1500 plus freight, but I'd much rather deal with C&F-ers, so
to anyone here, I'm offering them at $1400. USPS First class to lower 48 included.
Thanks all

Are those the Ebay Naills with aged imitation ivory projecting mounts with nickel ferrules and end-caps?

That's a beautiful set for a very good price. It's tempting for sure.

Hi Rich......
Missed your post. Yes. The DN1 are just as you described. The "Aged ivory" is nice touch. Not overdone. Never having seen it, I was afraid it might be too yellow.....but its just enough. Typical from D. Naill &Co. Always been a big fan of their drone sound.

That Naill "aged" imitation ivory is the best-looking artificial ivory IMHO.

The first time I saw it was a few years ago when a local piper showed up at the Games with what appeared to be a stunning-looking vintage full-ivory set.

We all marveled at them, they were brand-new full "aged" imitation ivory Naills.

I think Naills are probably the best-looking pipes being made today.

And of course they sound fantastic too! I don't think any other non-vintage pipes have taken as many top medals as Naills have.

You may want to try over at the Dunsire Forums - more highland pipers to see. Great price on great pipes. I am sorely tempted!

Hey- thank you for the tip on Bob Dunsire. Also, I sent you a PM, but it's sitting in my "Outbox" so don't know if you received it.
Thanks again
