Advise on Border pipes maker in Europe

Hello, I am in the market for a set of border pipes in A below blown. Any advise on whom to order from?

Probably the makers most popular with top players are Hamish Moore - long waiting list, Nigel Richard (Garvie) - not making any more but frequently come up second hand at very good prices, Fred Morrison (McCallum) - easier to get but not as popular with top players as the above two.

Thank you. Correct me if I am wrong but Hamish Moore has retired and it is now his son Fin who makes them. Are they as good as before?

Depending on what kind of border pipes you mean, I'd also say Julian Goodacre and Sean Jones also make excellent instruments, with more of the continental/European sound. Pleasant volume, low-pressure, can be made with highland fingering.

I’d suggest checking out Burgess bagpipes.
I came across Burgess at one of his local sessions near Forres couple years ago and his pipes were very impressive.
