Yep, hard to believe, but such a thing really exists, and it's wonderful: Medieval Baebes.

Good good stuff.

Favorite Album: The Rose

Favorite Track: Dringo Bell, a very vulgar poem (even by today's standards!) in Chaucer's English, set to historically-appropriate (more or less) music, and sung by many beautiful, young, nubile, soft, fresh, glowing, absolutely stunningly beautiful women. Wow. :o

Wonderful wonderful wonderful and they are very pretty too! :D

By the way, here are the lyrics to "Dringo Bell," with slightly modernized spellings:

Warning! Not for the faint of heart or the easily offended. Not for anyone under the age of 18. Or anyone easily grossed out.

You've been warned.

It's not my fault.

I didn't make you go there.

I only provided the link.

I didn't make you click it.

It's only a link.

For all I know, it may not even work anymore.

Besides, what are the chances you'll understand Middle English anyway? :D

Ok, so I was curious enough to wade through the online pics to see if any of them could actually PLAY a musical instrument, and guess what? Apparently at least two of them do....play the instrument I have seen referred to here with great disdain (or at least a minimum of affection)... as the "re#*%!er".
:P

Yeah, but I get the distinct impression they'd like nothing more than to drink the blood of the living.

I saw them at the Maryland Ren Faire several years ago. A couple of
them do play recorder and tabor drum quite nicely. They also bring
along an older lady who plays hurdy-gurdy and some kind of portable
harpsicord-type instrument. They're great to see live, they wear
incredible costumes.

That's a mighty nice set of adjectives, every one of them true.
I also love their diction.
