Lunar Dust and Duct Tape

A little extra information here. I had the opportunity to work with one of the groups evaluating long-term operations on the moon. The lunar dust, for the most part, is a pulverized glass. When a meteor strikes the moon with enough force, it heats the lunar material hot enough to form a glass. Subsequent strikes pound this glass into varying "grits". It gets everywhere, similar to the sand seen in the Middle East, and is very abrasive.
