What's that drivel got to do with the Dead? The sample sounded like a Hollywood sound track for a big epic western of the 1950s. Even supermarkets don't play that kind of junk any more.

I agree with djm. The sample is wrong, I hope the rest of the music is much better. Everyone thinks I'm a deadhead. I'm not. That may shade my feelings about the music. I've played their music at weddings and campfires and played their music in styles other than their own. This wasn't one of them.

I will forward this on to friends, they'll like it.

Oh, God no. Wasn't Riverdance enough? If I want sanitized bombastically-symphonized rock music, I'll go catch a "Jesus Christ Superstar" revival. Jerry's temples are throbbing. :boggle:

Yeah, had a hard time with the clip... Much of the orchestral rock just doesn't work for me. I don't know if I'm a "Deadhead" (saw them 4 times and really love the music, but didn't tour for years) but I love the music and likely got into folk/trad through them (Dead -> Grisman -> Bluegrass -> fiddle tunes -> ITM).

I'd rather listen to Wake the Dead, who incorporate ITM and Dead tunes.

It doesn't have any of my favorites except Sugar Magnolia.

I'd go too. I often like the kind of stuff that purer musical souls sneer at, because it's...well...good.
(The illustration is cool too.)
I AM close enough, but it's sold out.

Somehow I can't equate "Ded Head" with "Pure musical souls".

It's the "ripple" effect.
