Post your cat photos.

Post by Cass »

Since there seems to be a bit of a cat thing going on here at the moment, thought I'd post a couple of pics. :)

This is Cass ...she's 17. (Full name Cassiopaea, also known as "old girl" or "pudding"),
Image

and Freyja (known by various other names, including "Klepto" and "little un". )
Image

This is my parents cat. He's called Sam, (aka "fluffy keks", or "lady boy")
Image

When they're a bit older, we're going to let "Klepto" and "Lady boy" have kittens.....sorry to disappoint you all, but however many she has, they're spoken for already!

And whether the blood be highland, lowland or no.
And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

This is Miss Flora. She's literary.

Image

She also is unusually serious about her creature comforts, even for a, well, creature.

This is Ceili. This is also the first picture I ever took with my digital camera (I took it about 4-5 months ago).

Chessie and Piper are 8 year old littermates. Chessie (gray and white) has the personality and stature of an opera diva. Her brother Piper (orange and white) is a little sweeter and cuddlier.

Some of us have cats and dogs, and love both equally. :)

Plus, I don't trust anyone our critters don't trust. (I trust their instincts better than my own.) If the cat is afraid of you, it doesn't matter how much the dog likes you (and vice versa). The vote must be unanimous.

May a thousand flea-ridden, yowling Siamese cats invade your home.

Back on the farm we had a large number of cats. These were not "pets" per se; they had an appetite for field mice and other pests. Mutually beneficial relationship I guess.

I may get a pet cat at some point, but my dog would have to approve first.
