Indeed. I try to stay away from M theory related stuff where possible; far far too many headaches trying to understand it. It's just the little thorns like that on the rose of physics...

Ha-ha! Monster cool with 3D lenses! This stuff is kinda like trying to visualize multiple hash levels within a relational database.

I didn't understand this at all, but my Algebraic Topologist husband did.
He also understood DJM's observations about hashes and databases. So
we spent a nice half an hour with him talking enthusiastically but
incomprehensibly, and me nodding sagely.
Nice reminder of the Good Old Days when we were much younger and he
was getting his PhD.
Thanks for the little bit of Marital Enrichment

If you hit the stereo button twice and look at it like you would a
stereogram you don't need the glasses.

OR you could drink more. . . and look at the middle one.

Whoa! It works!
For some reason I saw three of them though, that surprised me.
No, I haven't been drinking

Casey was selling the glasses in addition to the Cd at his concert last weekend. He picked up a whole mess of them while touring Tibet with Abigail Washburn. I'd have bought a pair if I thought it could make me the kind of fiddle player he is.
That kid rocks!

At least you have someone to explain this stuff to you. Imagine trying to sit with a text book two inches thick, having to look up every third word, trying to envisage what they're talking about, only to come to a statement at the end of the page telling you it is impossible to envisage this stuff.
Oh, my brain hurts!
