Sign up below to be on an exploratory committee to consider the possibility that Chiff & Fipple will seek our party's nomination for President of the United States in the 2012 election.

The Washington Post has offered me $100 to get on this committee and feed them news items. I will be known as Deep Fipple.

But Chiff and Fipple would have to be 35 years old in order to run...according to your signature line it would only be 18.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

As long as the exploring involves nothing more than opening the occasonal thread from the comfort of my laptop, and nibbling on Oreos, count me in.

Doesn't this belong on the Political Forum?
Besides, its not a topic that many of us can participate in, as we are not citizens of the afflicted state.

I don't know much about politics, but the committee should probably be prepared to answer questions about our "This is the life" slogan.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp. Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.
