I'll be on the other end of the scalpel this afternoon as I undergo minor surgery-- of the foot!! Wish me luck...

Good luck. I just had an ingrown toenail removed Monday. Hopefully yours is as simple as mine.

A friend of mine just had orthoscopic surgery on his knee and cannot say enough about how happy he is with the results and how easy the whole process was.
Hope you're up and hobbling around soon...

I noticed Vets hate doing surgery on each other's pets. Do podiatrists
balk at working on each other's feet? Will it just be local anesth., so
you can make comments about the surgeon's work?

The only time I had to have a procedure done on my foot, it was to have a plantar wart removed when I was about 15...and the worst thing about it was not being able to get the foot wet for a couple of weeks after!
