Which TV character should be bounced off a wall?

Post by Chuck_Clark »

I was unable to get the channel changed in time to avoid a few minutes of Seinfeld re-run today. That few minutes was all Jason Alexander as George whatzizname. And it occurred to me that even though the show is (thankfully) dead, Alexander continues to play the same dumbass character and probably will for life.

As you can tell, I cannot stand the character (a two-legged worm if ever there was one). So my question is this: Which TV character (cartoons allowed) would you most love to pick up and shake until he/she/it rattles?

I liked Seinfeld, although the characters were reprehensible human beings, for sure. They were funny, though.

The one I hate is Phoebe from Friends. Stupid, dumb blonde stereotype, and NOT FUNNY at all, in my opinion. (I should say I feel that way about all the Friends characters). Hopefully those actors can find better roles now.

The stereotype husband, Al Bundy, in "Married With Children". It was supposed to be making fun of guys like that but I think he played one too well; really irritating.

I'm sure I'll think of someone else later but

Anna Nichole was who I thought of first. I realize that technically she is not playing a character, so might not fit the bill, she is truly

Disgusting.

It just dawned on me that two of the other three previously listed are among my favorites.

I still LOVE Seinfeld, all the characters, although I will admit I was not an early fan, it must be an aquired taste........

And Al Bundy? I laugh just thinking about him.

But, never a Phoebe fan-

Two come to mind immediately: Donald Trump and David Lettermen. A long list of overpaid former-athlete prima-donna analysts follows.

Barny and all his little friends. (I guess I shouldn't gripe since we outgrew him years ago.)

David Caruso. His ego is so big he makes Flatley look like a modest fellow. I have stated before here, that at any moment, I expect his ballooning ego to cause his head to actually explode in bits.

I don't watch ER anymore, and I can't remember the character's name, but it was the obnoxious doctor who got his arm cut off by the helicopter. I know you were SUPPOSED to hate him - well, it worked. I sure did. Too bad there's far too many doctors in real life that are like him.....

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

Here's my chance to say that I do NOT love Raymond. There's just something about the character that rubs me the wrong way.

I have a good friend whose most despised TV character was Lucy Ricardo.

I'd have to vote for the majority of the Faux News (Fairly Unbalanced) "reporters".

On man, I LOVE Rush. "Fly by Night", "Today's Tom Sawyer" "Closer to the Heart. I mean, sure, there's no whistle in them, but those are great songs.
