Not being all that much of a jazz fan, I don't know of Shorter's work at all. But that was absolutely beautiful. Thank you Mr Rezinator!

I'm a huge Wayne Shorter fan and spent many hours trying to adapt some of his compositions to guitar. He was a consistently original and surprising musician.

His theater & club appearances in the U.S. were always sold out.
He’d never be able to sell out a stadium in the U.S. because
of the disregard for what is America’s classical music; Jazz.
Jazz musicians always did much better in Europe and Japan.

Ah, I see. I was reading it wrong. I get it now.

I'm a new member on Chiff & Fipple. This seems like a good place to make my first post. I play Irish tunes on flute but my interests have always been more eclectic. Probably been appreciating Wayne Shorter since the early 70s. Hope you enjoy this recording because I do. Cheers, Auburn.
