Information is not knowledge.
Knowledge is not wisdom.
Wisdom is not truth.
Truth is not beauty. Beauty is not love.
Love is not music. Music is the best.

What a wonderful man. I was supposed to see him last fall (a friend's band was opening for him, I hoped for a backstage pass), but the show was canceled.

He was a great singer and musician, but he was more than that:

I've been expecting this for the last two weeks. It's the end of an era, for sure. Here's how I see it.

Hey, everybody, let's have some fun
You only live but once
And when you're dead you're done

So let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
I don't care if you're young or old
Get together, let the good times roll

Don't sit there mumblin', talkin' trash
If you wanna have a ball
You gotta spend some cash

So let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
I don't care if you're young or old
Go out and get together, let the good times roll

Hey Mr. Landlord, lock up all the doors
When the police comes around
Just tell them that the joint is closed

And let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
I don't care if you're young or old
Get up and get together and let the good times roll

Hey everybody, tell everybody
That B.B. King's in town
I got a dollar and a quarter
Just rarin' to clown
But don't let nobody play me cheap
I got fifty cents more that I'm gonna keep

So let the good times roll
Let the good times roll
I don't care if you're young or old
Get together and let the good times roll

:sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle: :sniffle:
I've proven who I am so many times, the magnetic strips worn thin.

Thankful to have had the opportunity to see him play live in the 70s at college. In that show he introduced a "promising new talent" named Stevie Ray. RIP
