Yes, a person's response to the Horshack Test can be very revealing.
I'm sure that Mr. Wisely is well aware of the implications of seeing a bunny...

I bet you've never been called a guitar player at a session before either. But now we have the Nano Guitar:
Image
"The world's smallest guitar is 10 micrometers long -- about the size of a single cell -- with six strings each about 50 nanometers, or 100 atoms, wide. Made by Cornell University researchers from crystalline silicon, it demonstrates a new technology for a new generation of electromechanical devices.

The guitar has six strings, each string about 50 nanometers wide, the width of about 100 atoms. If plucked -- by an atomic force microscope, for example -- the strings would resonate, but at inaudible frequencies. The entire structure is about 10 micrometers long, about the size of a single human blood cell."

At least you'll be playing at inaudible frequencies.

What's with the double bridge? It looks like the 6th string (high E) is on a separate bridge, making that string a good bit longer than the other five. Are there any full-size guitars with that feature? Also, do dogs howl when the Nanoguitar is played, or is it above the frequencies they can hear as well?
:-?

You are asking real world questions about nano world things. It's sort of like quantum mechanics----you can't know where something is and see it at the same time, or whatever. Just go with it ----it's nano, it's good! Don't worry, be happy! :)

Ah, left handed. Maybe there is a picture of Jimi or Paul in the lab. Maybe the boffins are Hendrix fans... :-?

I think those blocks represent the electric pickups, not the bridge.

Correct, split pole hum cancelling pickups - as per Fender Precision

Technically that is micro, not nano:

micro: 10^(-6), prefix: "mu" (pronounced "mew" and written using the Greek letter, uh..... mu... as above... yeah... That, by the way, looks like a u, with an extra "tail" at the beginning)

nano: 10^(-9), prefix: "en" (pronounced, um... as "en", and written using the Roman letter "n")

That guitar is several micrometres across, making it several thousand nanometres.

Ironically, most of the time when people are talking about nanotechnology, it is in fact microtechnology... just small microtechnology...

Does that mean that it is tuned to A440X10^6
