I guess the whole thread's a misnomer. Ok, how about "The American People." Who are they? Is it me? You? Who? All of us? Can't be because I know the A--h--- who keeps throwing that term about neither speaks for nor cares about me. Generally, the more times a politico uses this term the less I'm interested in what s/he is saying. I firmly believe that the REAL American people s/he speaks for are those one to two percent who control 98-99% of the wealth, or his/her peers.

Imagine having a national horse and not being able to pronounce its name. Imagine if they had a national horse and nobody came. Imagine there's no national horse. Imagine me and you. I do. On a national horse. :boggle:

Much like Godwin's Law I'd like to hereby proclaim Flyingcursor's Law.
Any thread will inevitably turn into a Monty Python quote competition given enough time and no interference by Godwin's Law.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

The Tennessee stud was long and lean
The colour of the sun and his eyes were green
And he had the nerve and he had the blood
And there never was a hoss like the <A HREF="http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZhxAsVnzah0">Tennessee stud</A>.

Kentucky bluegrass is not blue.

Christian Scientists are not scientists (some argue they're not even Christian).

Koala bears are not bears.

Is the French horn actually French? I'm kind of vaguely remembering that it's not, but I could be misremembering...

This belongs in the Rubber Room unless we can find something positive to say about it.
