I was fortunate enough to be part of the first generation that had a cartoon designed to sell toys. Ít was HeMan. Although the cartoon Spiral_zone had an unhealthy amount of commercialism, I still liked it.

Rocky and Bullwinkle is still over my head even though I understand about half of the jokex now.
