Tom, Tom, Tom... do try to keep up with my bad puns, please! "On my toes" and "handy" were in reference to the fact that I can do the salute with both my feet and hands...

And I worked so hard to come up with that, too. Sheesh.

No, no, I got it, I was just trying to "re-pun" to you.

Now, if you can do that in heels, that would be something!

-I replaced a fourteen year old set last year with a 26"widescreen LCD set. Its big enough to make movies impressive (from 8-9 feet away) and small enough to not dominate the room. The high res display shows bad TV makeup, though, and painted backdrops are apt to appear as just that. The upconverted DVD display is so good with this rig I haven't bothered with cable. (translated: means I'm too cheap to spring for cable)

-I've been meaning to scope out Benny Hinn's jutting hairdo in high def just to check its parameters. Lots of productions were only meant to be viewed in NTSC resolution. One scene in the William Hurt version of "Dune" shows a sand dune clearly as painted burlap with highly visible weave. Oh well-It shows Saskia Reeves well and thats good enough for me!
